Summer Internships Program 2025

The Gate New York is looking for our next group of Summer Interns for 2025! We’re offering internships across our account management, strategy, media/analytics, and creative departments.

So, if you’re interested getting some real-world experience at a New York ad agency, check out the job descriptions for each department, and see what is the best fit for you.

Here are the important things you need to know:

  • Applications open 1/3/2025 and close 2/21/2025.

  • Finalists will be interviewed during the month of March.

  • Offers will be sent in early April.

  • The internship runs from 6/3/2025 through 8/7/2025.

  • This is a paid internship.

  • You are required to work full-time (30 hours per week) for the duration of the internship program (9.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 1pm on Fridays. Yay Summer Fridays!).

  • This internship is a hybrid model. You must be willing to work in person at our NYC office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). We work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

  • Housing and associated living costs will be the responsibility of the interns.

  • You must be a rising senior to be eligible for this program.

  • You must be eligible to work in the USA.

Account Management Internship

If you’re interested in understanding the full inner workings of an agency and love talking to people, then this internship is for you. The Account Management intern will be exposed to the importance of fully understanding a client’s business and their needs and learning to manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the company’s products or services are delivered on time, on budget, and up to the client’s standards. Some of the other duties the summer intern will be responsible for include:

  • Attend meetings (internal and client) to gather information about a project’s scope, budgets, and timelines, and ensure that this information is disseminated to the correct people in a timely and succinct manner.

  • Attend meetings with other agency departments to discuss clients’ project goals, progress, and outcomes.

  • Assist with the development of budget-management tools and timelines for clients.

  • Coordinate with the internal teams to meet project milestones.

  • Assist with research on the client’s industry and their competitors so that we are always working smarter for our clients.

  • Help with putting together PowerPoint decks for internal and client presentations.

  • Gain hands-on experience in the process of the day-to-day process of how a project goes through an agency

  • Advance your presentation skills as you present your work to senior leadership teams.
